Get Active
It comes as no surprise that being physically active helps you stay healthy overall and help your eyes. Exercising daily or even weekly can lower the risk of health conditions that can cause eye health or vision problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. A good way to get active might be to go on a small walk or go to the swimming pool. Trying to get more active will help you feel healthier and happier.

It is so important to protect your eyes during warm sunny days, be sure to look for sunglasses that block 99 to 100 percent of both UVA and UVB radiation. UV light ages all structures of the eye. Possible chronic effects from UV exposure can include corneal damage, cataracts, and macular degeneration which can all ultimately lead to decreased vision.
Wear Protective Eyewear
Safety glasses and goggles are specifically designed to protect your eyes during certain activities, like playing sports, doing construction work, or doing DIY projects. Wearing the correct safety equipment makes sure you keep your eyes clear of debris or any dangerous objects that could potentially come in contact with your eyes.
Give Your Eyes A Rest
Whether you are watching TV or catching up with your emails, taking a break from the screen can be beneficial for your eyes and give them a break. Rest your eyes by taking a break periodically every half an hour if possible. It’s always a good idea to wind down and read a book or go out in the garden.
