"A highly researched, ultimate combination of eye vitamins for macular health that reduces blood vessel degeneration. Widely recommended by NHS ophthalmologists."

What is Viteyes?

Viteyes 2 and Viteyes 2 Advanced capsules are based on two of the most important large scale eye health trials lasting over 20 years on around 8,000 people. Its ingredients benefit the users’ eye health and vision, supplementing essential nutrients the body needs to protect eyes from age-related damage.

The suggested dose of 2 capsules contains the exact formula recommended by the AREDS2 eye health trials and studies.

But, what you want to know is whether there are any adverse side effects to taking Viteyes 2 capsules, the ingredients and overall if it’s worth your money. You’ll find everything you need to know here.

What are Viteyes Side Effects?

There are no adverse side effects to Viteyes 2 or Viteyes 2 Advanced Capsules when taken under the suggested daily dose of two capsules. However, certain minerals when taken excessively can cause:

  • Tooth staining
  • Upset stomach
  • Headache
  • Unpleasant taste in your mouth

Who is Viteyes for?

Viteyes are for people who are looking to improve the health of their eyes, which in turn lowers the risk of suffering from age-related eye conditions later in life - including macular degeneration.

And better still the Viteyes 2 Advanced is suitable for vegetarians/vegans and carries the Vegetarian Society 'vegan approved' mark.

Is Viteyes Safe?

Vitamin E should not be taken in excess by anyone taking warfarin, but there are no reported incidents of warfarin being affected by Viteyes 2 and in the studies there was no increased risk. So for anyone taking warfarin who wants to start taking Viteyes we suggest discussing this with your GP and if you do experience any unusual bruising or bleeding, STOP taking your warfarin and contact the warfarin clinic. If it is an evening or weekend, go to Accident and Emergency, do not wait and see.
