What are Ocuvite?

Ocuvite Lutein with Zinc, is a food supplement formulated to provide nutritional support for the eye.

This Ocuvite formulation contains vitamin E and the minerals zinc and copper. Each nutrient helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.

Lutein is a carotenoid. Carotenoids are the yellow pigments found in fruits and vegetables, particularly dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach. High levels of carotenoids are found in the macula, the part of the eye responsible for central vision.

Lactose monohydrate (milk), Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Lutein (from lutein beads), Vitamin C (as L-ascorbic acid), Vitamin E (as dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate), Zinc oxide (as zinc), Magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), Cupric oxide (as copper), Silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent). Colours: Titanium dioxide (E171) and Tartrazine (E 102)*
